Some store links earn NoJunkParts a small commission, at no extra cost to you. It never changes which part we recommend or the order the stores appear in. How we make money
How the job goes
- Work on a cold engine. Remove the engine cover if fitted.
- Unplug and remove each ignition coil. On V6 engines the rear bank is under the intake area; take your time and label connectors.
- Blow debris out of each plug well before removing the plug.
- Remove the old plugs; start each new plug by hand, then tighten to the service-manual spec.
- Reinstall the coils and connectors.
Before you order
- These are pre-gapped iridium plugs. Don't re-gap them.
- Don't mix brands in one engine.
- Confirm the tightening torque in a service manual; over-tightening can damage the aluminum head.
- 2015–2016 CR-Vs (new direct-injection engine) use different plugs.
