Oil filter: 2008–2012 Accord (2.4L and V6)
Honda's catalog lists 15400-PLM-A02 for every 2008–2012 Accord sedan and coupe, both the 2.4L 4-cylinder and the 3.5L V6. It replaced the older 15400-RTA-003.

How the job goes
- Warm the engine briefly, park on level ground, and shut it off.
- Remove the drain plug and let the oil drain fully.
- Remove the old filter and make sure its rubber gasket came off with it.
- Oil the new filter's gasket and spin it on hand-tight plus about 3/4 turn.
- Reinstall the drain plug with a new crush washer, refill with the grade and amount in your owner's manual, and check for leaks.
